Montepulciano wines

The Montepulciano grape is a red Rebsorte which is grown primarily in the region the Abruzzo. From there there comes the known Montepulciano d'Abruzzo which must be produced at least to 70% from the Montepulciano grape. The wines made from the Montepulciano grape, are are very colour-intensive, fine-spicy and strong. In the region Marche one calls the red wines primarily from Montepulciano grapes Rosso Conero or Rosso Piceno, in the region of Molise the Biferno are produced. Well known winerys are the Cantina Tollo, Terra d'Aligi, Moncaro, Garofoli or also Di Majo Norante.

From Tuscany comes the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. However, this comes only from the region around the city of Montepulciano and is produced from Sangiovese grapes.

Cabernet-Sauvignon wines

The Cabernet-Sauvignon grape, is a red grape type which has developed, in the meantime, to a very noble grape and is grown worldwide. Typically for Cabernet-Sauvignon his Bouquet is after black currants and his deeply dark red colour. Into the bargain pleasant Tannines and acid. The removal mostly follows in French or Slovenian Oak barrels what reduces the Tannins and the taste refined. As "Cuveé" one understands, this add from Merlot and Cabernet franc. We offer to you Cabernet-Sauvignon from Veneto, Sicily, Friuli and Tuscany.
